Uncharted isn't a brand new movie. It first came out in February of 2022. In fact I remember watching it when it first came out. But I recently watched it again with my son who is 14 years old. Now, normally trying to find a movie with my son can be hard. He doesn't want to watch anything that I typically watch. But Uncharted has Tom Holland in it. And of course Tom Holland is better known as Spider-Man. So this is a movie my son would watch.
I'm a big fan of movies about treasure hunts, so this movie fits the bill for me. It also stars Mark Wahlberg and Sophia Taylor Ali. The movie is about a young, street-smart thief named Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) who is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to find a lost fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan. Their globe-trotting quest becomes a race against a ruthless villain, Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), and his mercenary leader, Braddock, to find the treasure before they do.
The movie has action and will keep you watching to see what's going to happen. It's definitely worth the watch. And if you are looking for a good watch with your teen kiddo, try it out! Plus, rumors of a second movie are hanging out there. Sounds like it could happen.
