Brad Thor is one of my favorite authors. His books are well thought out and keep you on the edge of your seat. If you have never read and love action books, give them a shot! The main character in his books is ex Navy Seal Scot Harvath. With rumors around that Harvath is coming to the big screen sometime in the future, here is a look at 7 possible Scot Harvath actors. I'm hoping the movies do finally come. They would be so good!
Chris Pine
Where you have seen him: Star Trek, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, This Means War
Why: Brad Thor himself mentioned that Chris Pine would be a good fit to play Harvath on the big screen. Pine has shown he could play action hero in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and can portray the smart ass side of Harvath that we all love.
Jeremy Renner
Where you have seen him: The Hurt Locker, The Bourne Legacy, Avengers
Why: Renner gave us a glimpse of his inner Harvath in The Bourne Legacy and has proven his acting skills.
Karl Urban
Where you have seen him: Lord of the Rings, The Bourne Supremacy, Chronicles of Riddick, Dredd
Why: Urban has been in numerous action movies throughout his career. He has shown he can do just about anything and can kick ass doing it.
Chris Pratt
Where you have seen him: Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World
Why: Pratt is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood right now. We have seen him as a capable action actor, but he is ready to lead a franchise on his own?
Nathan Fillion
Where you have seen him: Serenity/Firefly, Castle, The Rookie
Why: Fillion may be getting up there in years, but he has proven he can be an action hero and would have great chemistry on the screen with potential leading ladies.
Stephen Amell
Where you have seen him: Arrow
Why: Amell played the hooded vigilante Green Arrow on the CW’s hit show Arrow. He has shown that he can pull off action sequences and cleans up pretty good. Since Amell is a pretty face in Hollywood, this would be a great person to start off a franchise.
Gabriel Basso
Where you have seen him: The Night Agent
Why: Basso could play a younger version of Scott Harvath. He does an excellent job in The Night Agent in that type of role and could bring a younger vibe that could continue on.
Who do you think could do Scot Harvath justice on the big screen?
