So I decided to watch Novocaine starring Jack Quaid, who is the son of famous actor Dennis Quaid. The movie officially came out March of this year. The premise of the movie is Quaid's character, Nathan Caine, is incapable of feeling physical pain. Which in theory sounds good. But when you can't feel if you are being burned or cut, it could cause some problems. The film also stars Amber Midthunder, who plays the love interest of Nathan.
When Sherry (Midthunder's character), the woman he loves is kidnapped, he uses his unique lack of pain to become an action hero and fight to rescue her. The film blends action, comedy, and suspense as Nate navigates a violent situation, using his condition to his advantage.
It's a fun movie to watch seeing Nathan get thru situations where a typical person would be screaming in pain and he feels nothing. Definitely worth a watch and will give you a few good laughs.
