Reacher - A Show You Need to Watch

Reacher, starring Alan Ritchson, on Prime Video is one show you need to watch. Now, normally I don't look too much into these results, but in this case I think it's true. On IMDB 8/10 and Rotten Tomatoes gives it 96% approval rating. So if other people are agreeing with me, then this must really be a MUST WATCH. To be honest I had never heard of any of the cast before I started watching this. Alan Ritchson, who plays Reacher just looked like a big strong guy. But he can actually act as well. Then you throw in Maria Sten, who plays Frances Neagley, and you get an awesome start to a group of actors. Maria Sten is quite beautiful as well and a great actress. Ok, so what is Reacher about? Good question. It's based on Lee Child's Jack Reacher books. So each season adapts one of the books. The first of 3 seasons out right now starts by Reacher, a former Military Police Officer, being arrested for a murder he did not commit. This brings him into a big conspiracy of bad cops...

My Dad and Lee Harvey Oswald - The Magic Bullet Theory and More

I always remember my dad talking about his time in the 1956 Marines with Lee Harvey Oswald. He had told me after President John F. Kennedy was shot November 22nd, 1963 that the FBI had come and talked to him. That they had talked to everyone that was in the Marines with Oswald back in 1956. One of the things they had talked to him about was if Oswald was a good shot. Now, when my dad told me this story he laughed. According to him Oswald was not a good marksman at all. So for him to hear the single bullet theory and Oswald shooting JFK on his own was funny. And that's what he told them. Of course this all came up in 1991 when the JFK movie came out starring Kevin Costner. That's when my dad told me more about his time in the Marines with Oswald. Having different family situations these days seems common. So, my story may sound somewhat familiar to some of you or you might say to yourself... SAY WHAT? Until I was 19 years old I had 3 siblings. One, is my full sister and then I have two half sisters from my Dad. But then a wrinkle happened in my life. My dad was dying of Cancer and only had a short time left to live. My oldest sister had apparently known of a child who was given up for adoption who was actually my full brother. Wait..... My full brother and I have no clue about him? Yes. My brother, who was 9 years older than me, had been given up for adoption before my parents were married. Interesting Pepsi Flavors - Do You Remember These?

Pepsi is my favorite soda of all time. There's no comparison for me. I like others, but nothing compares to Pepsi. Everyone has their own favorite and it seems to be what you grow up with. Christmas Presents: Is there a point to adult gifts?

With Christmas right around the corner my kids have already given me Christmas lists, so it made me think about presents more. It seemed like back in the day everybody actually got each other gifts. The days of Amazon gift cards, Target gift cards or the Visa gift card were not heard of yet. You would have to spend time shopping and find that perfect gift for your family member or friend. No Sleep 'Til Christmas - An Unexpected Good Movie

So in my endless pursuit of Christmas movies I came across No Sleep 'Til Christmas on Netflix (also available lots of other places). The movie first came out back in 2018, but I had never heard of it prior to now. The preview looked pretty good so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. So, what is it about? During an incident, Lizzie, an engaged woman, runs into Billy, a bartender with a similar problem. When they learn that they can only fall asleep when next to each other, Lizzie decides to offer Billy money to sleep next to her until her wedding. But, is there more to why they can only sleep when next to each other? One thing I did find out is the two main actors, Odette Annable and Dave Annable, are married in real life. So you can see why they have natural chemistry in the movie. The movie gives you laughs and that holiday romance that is always a good thing. The Holiday Calendar movie has been on my "Christmas movies to watch list" since it came out in 2018. It stars Kat Graham, who is most famous for Vampire Diaries, and is a romantic comedy that will give you laughs and has good story as well. Here's what it's about: The Holiday Calendar is about a talented but struggling photographer named Abby (Kat Graham) who inherits an antique Advent calendar from her grandmother. The calendar is magical and seems to predict the future by revealing small trinkets each day, which leads her on a path to both professional and romantic success. While it guides her toward a potential relationship, it also seems to be pointing her toward her lifelong best friend, Josh. Yes, it has the classic love story of someone trying to figure out the best fit for them and also about that person finding their place in this world. I recommend watching this movie.
